TTIN Challenge: HD 17

Checking in on this beautiful Sunday morning!

I am barely over 4,000 words on my manuscript and am inching through Chapter Two.  I need to just write bad and worry about the rest later!!! Can I hear an AMEN?

And, today is my day to blog on FAITH.  Come check us out....

Now, it's your turn... how's everything going on the writing front?

No writing today. Will get back to it tomorrow.
And yes. We need to pray for excitement regarding our stories.
Do you ever pray for God to wake you up at a certain time? It works too!!!!!
:)

This weekend has been crazy-busy. As of next saturday, the Upward basketball season will be over so hopefully things will calm down. Today I worked on finances and tax information. Yuck!

I managed to get through 6 pages overall this week. Not quite the 15 I had hoped to finish, but still it's progress. Slow but sure.

Playing with backgrounds again I see.

I got 500 words on the mss over the weekend. But bigger for me was that I mapped out the rest of the scenes on my Scrivener corkboard. I'm thrilled to know where I'm heading here in the home stretch. :)

By the way, I love the new look, Christy!! And please tell me it hasn't been this way long. I'll feel awful if I've been that unobservant! :)

Lindi, I think it's wise to pray for excitement over the story and pray to wake up early to get things done on it. I end up not praying for either half the time....

Dianna, 6 pages is great! Especially with all you have going on. Keep plugging!

Missy, don't worry, I just changed the background on Saturday. I was procrastinating that day. But I like this background and set up best of all. I was looking for something funky. I think I found something that suited me. Glad you plotted the rest of the book. Do you ever find you get stuck on small things even if you've mapped out where you are headed?

Christy, I've had a synopsis written--had to for the proposal to sell it. But I didn't know exactly how I wanted things to happen. When I finished a scene on Friday, I got kind of stuck. Couldn't decide how to lead into the last events that I knew needed to happen. Plus, I had recently brainstormed with Lynnette Eason and had decided to change the ending a bit. So I had to figure out how that was going to happen.

I'm thrilled but can't believe I'm so close to the end!!

I'm glad to hear the background was new! :) I just knew it had to be.

I love the way the posting days are set apart. Makes it easy to read. And of course I love the pink. :)

Christy,
I didn't forget the challenge - but I'm interning this month and next for Tiffany Colter. That combined with work is about all I can handle right now.

Good luck with your writing!

Edwina, have fun with the interning! That'll be a great opportunity!

Glad you popped in Edwina! The interning venture sounds interesting... I'm sure you are busy - good luck with everything. I am assuming the interning opportunity has to do with the editing you are getting into?

Thanks Missy!! I like the pink, too. It's kind of vintage and kind of funky. Hopefully I can keep my hands off of the blog (design that is) and more on the manuscript, tee-hee!

Finalist!

I've always enjoyed reading historical novels. As a child I actually imagined living in the mid 1800s. My grandmother fed my imaginatio...
