Keep Me Accountable: NANOWRIMO!!!

Today is November 1st and the first day of Nanowrimo. I will officially begin my push to write 50,000 words this month in just a couple of hours. If you are participating in this challenge, make me your writing buddy - I'm listed as christylashea.

I think I'm ready for this challenge. I've got a skeleton of scenes written to guide me through. If you've done Nano before and have any suggestions, please share!  We're all about helping each other reach our goals around here!

Now, I couldn't help share a couple of pictures from the last couple of weeks. Here, my daughter(6years) and son(22 months) share a nice treat during our recent trip to Jaemor Farms in Alto, Georgia. It's just beautiful up there.

Here, I'm trying to get a picture of their beautiful gardens and these apple trees. I bought a half a peck of the Red Delicious. They were huge and very sweet!

LOL, Lindi. Love it!

I logged in 1021 words this morning!
I already had 3k written, but I'm not counting those toward Nano to be fair. I hope to write at lunch and log more, then record progress on Nano tonight! Woohoo! A great first day!

Just starting my nano day. I wrote 1780 yesterday, but I think I'm all set to give her a run. I have a book due to Abingdon in April, The Memory Quilt. So I'm doing nano to get the rough plugged in and me off to the editing part, my favorite. So 50K, here I come.

Hi Christy:

I’m doing NaNoWriMo this year. I’m 3 for 10 in the competition over the years so it is not easy but it can be done.

I’m VincePlato but I don’t know how to the buddy thing works.

Good luck everyone!

Vince

Good luck everyone! I know you can do it.

I'm in revisions so I'm not doing NaNo, but that won't stop me from cheering you guys on. If I make revision progress, then I'll try to remember to post here. Otherwise, I may feel like a lazy slug. LOL.

Good luck, Angie! I looked for you but couldn't find you on Nano to add you as a buddy.

Vince, You and I are now writing buddies! Hopefully we won't get into too much trouble and the competition will help us write, write, write!

Keep Revising, Dianna - you have a request waiting for you and we're going to see it through!

Calling Eva! Calling Eva! Why are you not doing Nano!?

Hey, all, I logged another 260 words at lunch. Very proud of the accomplishment... Let's hope I still have this much energy by day 15!

Hi all---Yeah--progress! Congrats Christy on the word count-

-Vince this will be year number 4!!

Dianna--keep revising--I saw someone post a NANOREVIMO--Ha!! She said that's what she's doing.

Eva--I know you're still getting your 1K a day. Hey--I like the sound of that. It almost sounds like a cereal commercial.

Dianna still cheering you on!

I've always enjoyed reading historical novels. As a child I actually imagined living in the mid 1800s. My grandmother fed my imaginatio...
