About the Book:
In Magnolia, Georgia, local legend says that a couple who holds hands around the "forever" tree will have an unending love. Even so, Bill Wellington held Lindsay Jones's hands around that tree years ago…and then left her behind. He chose the big city, and now he wants to bring his grandmother there. But to his amazement, he finds that Granny has a boyfriend—and a vibrant life. A life that includes Lindsay, Granny's caregiver. Bill never thought he'd want to come home, yet Magnolia clearly has its charms. As does Lindsay, who makes him long for a second chance at forever love.

The characters in His Forever Love were some of my favorites. Who couldn't love the geek who turned hunky, successful professor. Bill still had some doubts when it came to leading lady Lindsay, but that made him even sweeter.
Granny Bea reminded me of my own grandmother, who won't be stopped from doing what she wanted to do no matter how many times she fell on the ground or out of the attic.
And then there's Lindsay, duped at the altar by the guy she thought was perfect for her, then duped by her best friend Bill, is living the single life believing her life is made up of taking care of Granny, her father, her brothers and nephews along with running Jolly Time Day Care Center.
But there's more to Lindsay than dedicated care-giver. She's determined to keep Granny in Magnolia and will stoop to all levels to derail Bill's plans of returning to Boston with Granny. She's also determined not to listen to her best friend swearing she's meant to end up with Bill all because they held hands around the forever tree. But Donna Rae's got that feeling and Lindsay knows when her best friend gets one of those feelings, she usually right.
Some parts of this story made me giggle. Some places made me get a lump in my throat. All in all, it was a book that kept be interested and up until 2 am reading because I had to be sure of how it would end. Well done, Missy! Well done!
